I feel all terribly on top of things today. Think I did well on my SA/Equine Med midterm, got the garden replanted (and took pics), started on laundry, am now in the process of putting my room back to rights and getting the dishes done. Who knows, I might even vacuum and clean bathrooms. It's just that sort of day.
Oh, saw the first new Torchwood of the second season!
First, let me say? Clownfish in the car. That was possibly one of the best opening sequences for them ever.
Secondly, James Marsters can come back ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. Dayum. I loved his character, I loved the swagger, the smirk, the way he got Jack (and Hosh, BWAH) all flustered, that AWESOMETASTIC fight/makeout scene between Jack and John, all of it.
Also, the writing was great, much better than their first season attempts.
And what was up with Ianto being so reserved? How long was he gone, anyway? Can't have been a whole year, time got reversed. Unless he didn't go straight home after the Saxon fiasco... More Info Plz!
GWEN. OH GWEN. WHYFOR DID YOU SAY YES TO RYES IF YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE EYES AT ALL THE BOYS? WHY?
Owen was fantastic. Poor Owen, can't catch the girl without his special spray. Tosh was totally shutting him down. *snerk*
Okay, Gwen's little speech to John when they caught him in the medbay/dissection arena was... more than a little pretentious. But being royally pissed off accounts for a lot. The look on John's face when Jack turned up was fantastic.
And Owen saves the day! Someone got a spine and a brain to go with during the break! So much better than Weevil!cage!fighting!Owen.
For the future: I want to see Martha square off against John in a snark war. :D!
