Lalala five inpatients la.
Two is fine. Three, getting busy. Four is... a lot of work.
Five?
Yipes.
Maybe one's going home soon. Maybe even two, by tonight. That'd be awfully nice.
EDIT: OMG. Student I picked up half of these cases from 'cause he had boards came back today. Man is totally looking for a sainthood. I'm down to two patients, with a third being picked up in an hour. YAY.
Also, new third patient is a) a cat, so it doesn't need to be walked and b) going to ICU post op. SO MUCH YAY.
