I do so love being home. NO STUPID FLATMATES HERE YAY!
1) Saw 'The Family Stone', which is an okay if somewhat (entirely) predictable comedy, with rather a lot of cliches and an ending you can see coming a mile away. The characters themselves are fun, however, and there's at least one good straight-up comedic scene that doesn't descend into gushy sappiness for extra feel-good brownie points.
2) Dear checkout dude at Safeway trying to convince me San Jose got to be colder than Davis: I win by the superior logic that I was outside WALKING THE DOG when you were still snoozing. Colder in Davis for the win.
3) Have decided Gaelic Storm's CD 'How Are We Getting Home?' is a wonderful thing of love. 'Down Underground' and 'Pina Colada in a Pint Glass' make me very happy, as do 'Fish and Get Fat' and 'Short a Couple of Bob'.

4) I kinda want to try and train Diego to 'Good Citizen' standards. And maybe get him tested. Need to talk to the RVT in charge of the program about this. It'd be good to add to his resume.
5) Dear CSI: Can we say 'jumped the shark'? Knew you could.
6) Somehow, commercials are funnier when they are muted with the subtitles on. *titls head*
7) Also, whoever is doing the captioning for... whatever football game this is on the TV, I can't read the team names without my glasses, anyway. He evidently doesn't believe in sentence structure. Or. You know. Making sense. *snickers*

9) Aaaaand that's about it. Pizza Antiqua for the sis's birthday dinner tonight, followed by cream puffs with chocolate sauce and 'The Illusionist'. :D
