So, went home this weekend, which was good. Dad liked his b-day prezzie, which is even better. We watched gymnastics trials and argued about relative fairness of various judgments.

Today we got to watch the A's whip the Marlins (from just behind home base!), which was loads of fun (even if I got a bit burnt around the edges due to sun-block applying incompetence. I saw the Red Sox were still hanging in there at 13 innings when we left - thought of you, sotto_voice. Of course the Giants got their butts kicked again, after they opened up a huge lead earlier in the game. Bleh. But the A's won! It's the first time I've been at a game where they actually won.

Clinics start up again tomorrow, bright and early. Hopefully I won't get shipped to SA Med (waugh!) which'd be tragic.

Rescued the almost-completed first real chapter of my Ten-Rose-Ace fic off of the computer that no longer gets on the internet, so once I polish that up a bit more, it'll go up on FF.net under the somewhat predictable pen name of 'bodldops'. ... Because I forgot all the login info for my other FF.net account. Oops?
