I've never read this book, it's just the one that's closest as I've put all my books away in preparation for leaving tomorrow.

Figures I'd pick up an Oprah's Book Club book. Odds are it's miserable. I read her books until I caught on that she's a big fan of things what make you cry like a little girl or make you think humanity is a decidedly lost cause. Dear Oprah - have you tried reading happy books? Happy books can be serious literature too! The day she picks 'Princess Bride' I'll start reading her bookclub books again.
