So I went into the rental office for this apartment complex last night and asked about signing the renewal for the apartment I live in now, since one of them had made this offhand comment the other day about not knowing if any of us wanted to stay.

They said no one had signed the renewal yet (:D!) and said I could have until the end of the week to decide.

So I went in today to sign the renewal.

"Oh, we already gave that apartment to someone on our waitlist."

Right. Thanks for reminding me why I wanted out of this complex anyway. *makes face*

Diego actually WALKED CALMLY PAST OTHER DOGS today. This is a miracle akin to walking on water. It was all I could do not to throw a little victory celebration right there.
