I is not dead! Nor am I particularly weird, either. Though I do find it curious that according to this test, 'unique' and 'interesting' cannot co-inside.
a) I hates finals week, I do. My brain feels like cotton balls got all mushed inside. I tried to take a little nap, but kept having WEIRD dreams about... I have no idea, but it was really vivid, because when I'd wake up every ten minutes or so, I couldn't figure out what the heck was going on. Also, waking up every ten minutes when really tired? NOT FUN. Even less fun is when you realize you spent the last five minutes you could have been spending sleeping staring wildly at the alarm clock trying to decide a) if it is the day you have a final at the time it says it is and b) why hasn't the alarm gone off yet (when clearly it is set to a time later than it currently is. La.
b) Martha thinks I need following. There is now a little fuzzy cat following me around the room. But? She will not sit on my knitting. Will. Not.
c) Speaking of knitting, I tried to purl last night. ... Emphasis on 'try'. It looked so clear in the picture! But strings went in the wrong places! I may have to take a couple rows out now and re-do. *sulks*
d) *stares at Food Safety prof* Why was a question about the cause of the Peter Pan peanutbutter on the test? Why is one recall, among the bajillion recalls that go on every year, that important? SO STRANGE, BUDDY.
e) Diego is leaving on Friday or Saturday. WAUGH. But he has a good home. With two kiddies, and parentals that seem committed. They even hired the neighbor boy to walk him if they're going to be away for more than four hours. For serious. He's not gonna have a bad life, no.
f) Took Diego on a walk in a new direction today - over the freeway towards the beef and sheep barns. I remembered there being a trail back there. Well. There is. About a mile and a half down a fairly unshaded stretch of road. Poor Diego was so hot, I had to hose him down when we got back. It didn't help that I got us lost and had to backtrack for half a mile.
