(no subject)

1) Equine Med Midterm #1 went... less swimmingly than I hoped. After a week of prep I'd hoped to avoid that 'omg do not KNOW ANY OF THIS CRAP' moment, but alas, it was not to be. Did answer everything though.

2) On Thursday? Put a Nasogastric tube down a horse. Without getting it into the trachea or the mouth or back out the other nostril or up into the turbinates or any other place tubes like to go except down the esophagus to the stomach where it was supposed to go. AND? Did a abdominocentesis on said horse. AND? Did a rectal exam on said horse and knew what the hell I was touching.

WIN. :D

2) Saw a crawdad on the arboretum path yesterday while I was walking Fozzie. A live one. That waved its claws at me all threateningly when I tried to get a closer look.

It was so cute.

3) TANGO CLASS! BWEE! I'd forgotten how much I missed it. Also, I'd forgotten so much period! Oh yeah, place the foot first, that lead means forward ochos not back, all that jazz. I did stay for the continuing class, despite everyone there being very very scary good. One dude persisted in stepping on my feet the entire time we were partnered, and I couldn't figure out why since he pretty much only spoke Spanish, and... I can't speak Spanish, so. But then I went on to actually accomplish a move I'd screwed up consistently all spring quarter, so.

:D!

But my calves hate me for it this morning. Sucks to be them.

Things to Do Today
- Walk Fozzie
- Go to Walmart, get supplies and surgery shoes
- Go over surgery notes omg (I AM SURGICATING ON MONDAY WAUGH!)
- Study for Ophthalmology exam
- Start reading for SA Med exam
- Finish laundry
- Sweep outside
- +/- Vacuum
