And it's a new year! Shocking, I know. Have been up for abooout four hours now, four and a half maybe (debating the moment I can properly be called awake and not just zombie-ish), and have had coffee, and am here at the hospital serving out my holiday shift as being on-duty in the Emergency Clinic.
Thankfully, it's been quiet. *crosses fingers and hopes it remains so*
Very foggy today - not as bad as it can be, here, but still a definite chilly fog. Unlike fog closer to the coast, Central Valley fog does absolutely does not warm things up at all. Brr.
Watched some of the New Years Eve tv broadcast last night, managed to last to Lionel Richie (whom I thought did a decent job, compared with his costars), but then the Pussycat Dolls came on and it was so wrong and atrocious and I realized I had a Pratchett book upstairs and it would be a much more enjoyable way to ring in the new year. Knew it was midnight when the neighbors began singing 'Auld Lang Syne' (loudly), and then my phone rang and it was my family and I could hear the horns and :D.

New Year's Resolutions
Finish off weight loss goals. Bonus points for doing this by graduation, which is doable.
Find a job. Non-negotiable. Bonus points for finding one you can live with for at least a year, if not longer.
Do at least one new thing.
