Am now home - I did manage to get off early from ICU (thanks Dr. H!) and drove home to celebrate sis's birthday. Upon arriving home, the first thing I did was send half the family off to take the stray-turned-almost-housepet to the vet to have her incision checked out. Poor kitty, people in scrubs now make housecalls. Then, once they'd come back (with painkillers and antibiotics and an upset kitty) we headed off to Santana Row, and sis opened her present (pastels, for which I visited four art stores, and which were found in the campus bookstore).
We then ate yummy yummy Greek food. Emphasis on yummy. :D
Then we saw 'Slumdog Millionaire', which is adorable. Truly. Go see it. For the adorableness.

And then there were creme puffs. :D

And, of course, now the Cat With No Name is scooting around the house backwards. I believe it's because of the new e-collar she's wearing. Oh dear.

I liked Slumdog Millionaire! I'm not sure 'for the adorableness' is the main thing that stuck out to me about it. *amused* (Though maybe I am biased from my mom freaking out about the electrocution in the first scene.)
