The best laid plans of mice and veterinarians...

So, today, I decided I was finally going to walk to the park near my apartment. I've lived here two and nearly a half years, and I've only driven by the thing!

...

8.4 miles later, I think I probably should have researched the park more? It's huge, and a tendency to go 'well, let's see where this path goes' isn't exactly the smartest.

So. 18.6 miles on the way to Rivendell. >.< The hobbits have just started off on their second day of walking to Crickhollow, and Pippin has revealed that he really isn't a morning person. Poor Pip.

I'm the same way when I have time as I love wandering and seeing where I end up. It's how I've gotten to know most of the cities I've lived in but there are times I wished for a stepping disc or something to get me back.

Oh and this was linked in chat and if you haven't seen it, you should. An adorable Ace MLP.

WOW. I would've been afraid of getting lost! Sounds like an awesome walk, though!

That park is as big as the summer adventure camp behind my parents' place. I can't blame you for flailing. BUT! You now know you have a handy place to walk and explore. :D

I suggest Google Earth. :D:D:D

I use it to zoom in on where I've been walking, then mark out paths I've taken to find out just how far I've walked.
