First day of school... eh. Got my transcripts sent off, and managed to survive my two classes. Animal Diseases looks like a study-intensive class, and I know Anesthesiology is gonna be rough. Fun fun fun.
Work was... okay. Pilled a cat, walked the pred dog several times, cut overgrown toenails out of a rottie's paws, tried not to get wet, sat on a Labrador to keep it from moving while we were trying to knock it down, re-organized all of the supplies... busy, but nothing outstandingly interesting. We seem to be flooded with ringworm cases. They're everywhere!

hehe, I've never sat on a lab before, but I had a dobermin(sp?) sit on me before... that wasn't comfortable.

Neither is sitting on a lab, but the big goofball kept bouncing around, making it rather difficult to get the drugs IV. In the end, it took two of us (Dr. Chad and I), both sitting on the dog, with Chad holding the dog's neck in a headlock to get it to sit still for just a minute or so. Even then, the dog moved enough to blow both cephalic veins. Silly pup.
