Before I dive back into the unending piles of pharmacology notes, picspam from today's walk!

Pretty golden tree. No, I don't know what it is. Woe.

I just like the look of naked trees.

This is the redwood grove just beyond that lake with the UCD attack ducks.

So many turtles today! They were all over the place! And so, a picture of a turtle, enjoying the sun.

Diego patiently waits for me to finish taking pictures. What a good fluffernutter!

A patch of clover by the lodge - not as in focus as I thought it was. I'll have to upload the other picture I took of the clover.

Just chillin'.
While I was taking the previous picture, a little female mallard was waddling around clucking nervously at me. I looked around to see what she was going on about (usually they just skeedaddle when Diego's with me) and look! An egg! Bebe ducklings soon!

Pretty flowers!

A closeup of the pretty flowers, because I thought they deserved it.

And for the grand finale: A llama.

Date: 2007-02-15 11:32 pm (UTC)(There is a llama farm just north of the city. They occasionally stand by the fence and watch cars go by. It's really oddly cute.)
Do you know what the pretty flowers are? It seems as though I should; I almost, almost recognize them.
And finally, just so you know, I really enjoy these photo posts of yours. :)

Date: 2007-02-16 12:13 am (UTC)I... want to say it's a hawthorn? But I don't think that's right. I'll see if there's a sign nearby tomorrow.
:D! I enjoy making them, so they aren't about to stop any time soon!

Date: 2007-02-16 12:54 am (UTC)There are a lot of llamas around here, evidently. They're very useful pack animals for mountain hiking trips.
(Here's the web site for the farm I was thinking of. They have baby twin llamas!)
