The PicSpam Strikes Back!
Not nearly as sunny as the others... mostly because it's actually behaving like winter outside. Well. California winter. Which means flowers despite oncoming rainstorms.
The Arboretum river is lined in one section by these Western Redbuds - evidently some of them have been there since the '30's, when the Arboretum was made.
More up-close pictures of the Redbuds, aka 'Trying to get the microfocus to work without having read that section in the manual yet'
And again. They're pretty.
And then I found a tree with pom-pom yellow flowers.
And lo, there was a sign. Too bad it's way back in the tree and hard to read.
But it's still a pretty tree.
Another tree was making leaf shoots, and I took a lot of pictures of them, but this is the only one that came out. I think it looks cool.
Again, I like naked tree pics.
I also like reflections.
The New UCD Watertower again, with some very nifty clouds. I thought they looked like cotton padding.
Prickly cactus! I liked the look of all the spines.
And for once, I spotted the squirrel instead of Diego. He never did see that one. Just as well, as it was hiding in the cacti.
And a pretty flower. I don't know what it is, but it's still pretty.
