bodldops1) Am officially a dancer. :D Argentine Tango is fun. It is more fun when the guy you are dancing with does not have noodle arms. *eyes one guy in class in particular* Dude. Tango. Not club dance. But there's mostly good guys in class (though one guy saw fit to bestow his great knowledge upon me...), so we have fun. Though I did get picked out of line last week because she asked who was having problems with the cross (argh stupid step always miscount) and did it in front of the whole class. Squeak! So then every guy I danced with for the rest of the night was really eager to try that step, because obviously I knew it. *facepalm* Lots of practice! And there was attempts at ochos, but only for a few minutes.
2) Was taught how to write up SOAPs (or, as she'd do it, DAPs) yesterday by one of the emergency service vets. She was great - funny, and nice, and patient... and then a couple of idiots decided to talk in the back of the room, and she totally put them in their place. With one sentence and a glare. Booyah. :D And then she calmly went on about her lecture.
3) Okay, if one is having a class about communication and good relations and whatnot... START THE CLASS ON TIME. *thwaps*
4) There is a swanky lunch going on outside, but it is not for students. Very mean benefactor people, eating tasty food and enjoying their jazz and slide shows while the poor students rush around for fried food and burnt coffee.
5) Really really need to get picspam post up, as the list of photos is growing. >.>
6) Finally got the flier done for doggie fun day, and the coordinators change the schedule and donators and such around on me. Good thing I didn't send it to print!
7) There has been a marked increase in People Who Cannot Drive lately in Davis. I don't know what it is. Mostly it is in parking lots - I blame it on shoppers with low blood sugar.
8) The walk with Diego on Sunday was weird - it was muddy, so after I walked across a patch of ground that looked solid but had turned out rather boggy, I stopped near a puddle to wash off the bottom of my shoes so I wouldn't be walking on giant mats of mud, right? And a cop car drives by... and stops. Right across from me. And the cop is staring at me. And... not doing anything else.
WTF?
She didn't say to stop or anything, so I kept going... and she sat there for a while, before driving off.
VERY WEIRD.
