500 mile march:
Week 1: 22.7 miles (grr argh blisters *sulk*)
Week 2: 5 miles

Total: 27.7/500 miles

Boy do I have some ground to make up. >.<

In other (very belated) news, chatter about Hell's Kitchen:

1) WAUGH Julia got kicked off. BUT. Chef is the awesomest for sending her to culinary school. She's going to wipe the floor with any other contestant once she gets through with that.
2) .... I... think perhaps the wrong choice was made with Jen. Though, she did totally miss that the crab wasn't in there, but Rock is either totally non-confrontational or cruelly abusive, and slow. Though I'm not sure if Bonnie can hold it together to beat the pants off Rock like I hope she does. She has good palate, and when she gets it together she can hold together a team, but once she gets flustered it all goes downhill fast.

*might be throwing popcorn at the TV during the finale*
3) Bonnie is a smart little cookie, asking Jen to be on her team when they were saying goodbye.
4) ... Dude, I wonder if fainting boy is coming back. *fears*

Edit:
500 mile march, week 2: 8.1 miles
Total: 30.8/500 miles

God, I hope fainting boy isn't coming back.

I was totally floored by him sending Jen home. I wasn't expecting it at ALL, and I think it was the wrong decision. (of course, the inner me has been warring: she was first up, she wasn't expecting it, while Rock and Bonnie totally were, but on the other hand, if she'd watched the previous seasons, she'd have known that he always does that to them when they're running the pass.)

I just find myself feeling (much as I did with Biggest Food Network Moron) that I don't really want ANYBODY to win. And that makes me sad.

I did almost cry when he said he was sending Julia to culinary school, though.

I'm almost hoping Bonnie wins this thing. Even if she gets snotty about anyone assuming that she's a nanny and thus would know how to do nanny things when, you know, she only described herself as a nanny for the show.

Sending Julia to culinary school is an example of why I adore Chef Ramsay.

And how adorable is his mum?

So adorable! I squeed out loud when she came out, and S was in the kitchen going "WHAT! WHAT!!!???"

I thought it was funny that after Ramsay warns Rock specifically not to curse in front of his mum, it's Bonnie that starts swearing. :D

Are you going for 500 miles in a month? If so, you should've logged about ten times this by now. To get there, you'd need to do about 7.3 miles/day, each day, the entire month. Long walkies, yes. Feet hurt, oh, yes.

500 miles in ten weeks, and yeah, I'm a little behind.

Ah, ten weeks. That's different. You're still behind though. ;p

Um, yes. Because of blisters. That whole 'augh help foot hurts' thing really cuts down on the motivation.
