I was directed to this great baby-name mocking site: http://www.notwithoutmyhandbag.com/babynames/index.html

Some people... evidently check their brains at the door. Oi. Some choice comments:

How about Lou? When I was in England, I heard that name and it seemed to have a little tinkle to it. Randy is good too.
Or how about putting them together as "Randy Lou". No chance of teasing there. *headdesk*

I was somewhat surprised not to see my daughter's name in any of the above enteries. Her name is Alexa Rae... She does about 5 beauty pagents a year and for those she uses her first and middle name. That's what we would like for her to be known to the world as....Alexa Rae is almost 3 years old now and I don't regret our decision one bit....
We're going to get another one....My husband liked the name Shasta, but I can't imagine naming my child after a can of soda.

Let's not comment on the child slavery issue, shall we? *wince* Oh, and where do you 'get' babies? Wal-mart? Probably. I have it on good authority that Wal-mart is evil.

Not pregnant yet but working on it!! Carlos Arturo to make Jr. Although I don't like Arturo(North American tongue can't prononuce)
Yeah, that won't be awkward at all, your kid having a name you can't pronounce.

I really like Ireland as a mn. It sounds sooo cute. I like McCarthy for a boy too.
The people of Ireland will be happy to hear it. And what is up with naming kids something that should, in all decency, be a last name?

I think it's good to name your baby a name different from anyone else baby, because there is so many people who have the same name your baby have or it's very difficult. Also, it's hard to name your baby a different name, because when you think that no-one have that name there will be someone who have the same name your baby have when think you have named your baby different. so, you really can't think of any name that's different from anyone unless it's something made up.
*stares* Okay, first person who figures out what in the world that means gets a free dose of Advil (hey, there's a kids name! *headdesk*). You're going to need it after deciphering that.

I have a 7 yr. old daughter named Mariah Carrie [last name] ... as you can tell my husband really likes the singer and we even have a picture with the real Mariah Carey and my Mariah Carrie together. So we are expecting our second child in April and i think we should stick with a singer/star name since we started it with Mariah, yet we call her maya. Sex is unknow so if its a boy I like: Marc Anthony and if its a girl: Aaliyah Marie. What do you guys think? any suggestions? any star/singer names?
Oh. Dear. Eru. Make it stop, please make it stop.

For a girl I was thinking of naming her Quinlynn or Quinnlyn or something spelt similar.
Love child of Qui-gon Jinn and Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. Dear Eru, I've created a sue.

And last, but most certainly not least:
The name I really like and haven't told my husband yet is Aemezolina Mercedes.
That poor child is going to come home crying after Kindergarten when they learn how to spell their names. She'll be the only one who will need four sheets of paper. Corks, it sounds like a deadly disease from the Amazon River Basin.

I love the link! And a Sue was already there!!!!! I found it!!

I like the name Tegwin for my third child. My two children have uncommon names that are easy to pronounce and spell. I am compelled to use something original...ideas???
Yes. Jump off a bridge. Your kid sounds like an elfin creature in a Tolkein book.
