bodldopsNot much happening today... not even a new meme. How very, very sad. Work was very long, and very tiring... there's only so many vaccines one can give before going bonkers. Wait, too late for me. Hrmm.
We had another case of humanity-is-evil, and again, I'll cut it, since I know it's not exactly friendly reading.
So you see a box on the side of the road. No big deal, right? Well, someone stuffed four cats into the box and left it by the side of the road. By the time they got to us they were stinky and matted, and in not such great of moods. Two were okay other than the whole filthy thing, and put in strays, but one one, a sweet longhair orange tabby, had a dislocated hip, and another, an equally sweet longhair grey tabby, had a broken jaw. Clean snapped in half. Grrr people. The orange tabby has had it's leg fixed and wrapped, so it'll be fine in a week or so (fine with a medical waiver, it'll need some more weeks of cage rest), but the grey... jaw fractures are hard to fix in shelters. It requires wiring the jaw back together, and since cats are on the low end of the totem pole around here (there being so many of them we now have to euthanise for space...), kitty had better be darn sweet when the bosses come around. Sometimes cats are saved because they are deserving cases. Here's hoping. I hate people.
Annyway. Gonna fix this shelter!fic up and send it out to my wonderful new betas (Thank you Mum's the Word and Annalas!)... the ending is more... endy, now. Amazing. *snerk*

Poor kitties... Sister and I found a box of puppies on the road before. Poor little buggers, those things could have gotten hit by a car. We found them a nice home on a farm though. Hopefully your boss sees what sweet kitties those are and lets you guys fix them up. Poor things... Some people seriously need to be thwapped.
