bodldops1) No tests this weekend, YAY.
2) Saw 'The Visitor', which is not as depressing a movie as it could be, but still.
3) Belly-danced in a restaurant. No really. There's even pictures. Wasn't going to say yes to the offer, then thought '... why not?', because really, how many times are you asked if you want to belly-dance in a restaurant? I was horrible, but I had fun, so. :D
4) Just got back from watching 'Prince Caspian'
a) Loved Reepicheep. Just loved him to furry little pieces. He's awesome.
b) I really liked the angle they took with Peter and Edmund and Caspian. It was believable, more believable than the BBC version of 'hi I'm going to act like I'm 30 now'
c) LOVED the scene with the White Witch. Really did. That was way with the creepy.
d) Wasn't as wild about the castle plot, though I think it worked well within the greater plot, and was believable. I was just very 'WAUGH!' when the gate came down. And. You know. Kind of adored the tied-up cat.
e) The Minotaurs took a beating in this movie, didn't they? Poor Minotaurs.
f) Really liked who they picked as Caspian. At first I was leery of an older Caspian, but I think it worked really well, and put an interesting twist on why Susan would be so staunchly anti-Narnia-being-real.
5) Running a 5K on Monday. I just want a PR, that'd be awesome - have to beat 30:03 for that. Miiiiight be able to do it. We'll see.
6) To the dudes sitting behind us in the theater - you are over 18. You should know you don't talk in movies. No, we weren't going to stop shushing you. Idiots.
