Turn Left
1) Now, I'll come out and admit Rose is not my favorite companion. She just isn't. But in 'Turn Left' I'm torn between liking that she finally seems to have gotten a confidence and wanting to thwap her over the head with Grandpa's cricket bat when she gets that 'omg I is broken and I need a Doctor!' look plastered all over her face.
2)... Trickster Brigade. Trickster Brigade. BWAHAHAHAHA
3) Um, this ep highlights why I love Donna to bits. Yup.
4) Oh Doctor. Though, I'm wondering why Bad Wolf still has so much power. It shouldn't have been part of the loop taking them back to the station, and the words weren't there when they came through the first time, and ... it's messing with the TARDIS? Um? RTD, a bit fond of your own mythology, are you?
5)... Um. How come the cloister bell is going off? And doesn't in the whole next episode? *confused me is confused*

Stolen Earth
1) Oooooh, Rose has a nice gun. Brilliant. ... Though, it does beg the question: Where'd she get it? If she's been away from her own parallel world for so long? I mean, she didn't have it in Turn Left...
2) I love how they brought everyone together. I hate how they have the Doctor note how everyone's there. Because he, at least, should know better. I demand fic, at least, of what all the other companions alive during that time frame are up to, because you'd better believe they won't be taking this lightly. Barbara, Ian, the Brig (both of them), all the old UNIT crew, Jo, Liz, Tegan, Harry... there's so many that could have at least gotten a passing mention.
3) Um. If they kill off SJS and what's left of the Torchwood crew... isn't Torchwood supposed to come back at some point? And the SJA? And... Y'know, DW in 2009? O.o
4) I adore the Grandfather. I really really do. I wish that paintball gun had been more effective, just for great 'normal people can make a difference too' moments. But at least Rose gets to use her big gun once in the episode.
5) Oh for the love of Pete, Rose, she's not coming to the Noble house, head for some place he's more likely to be instead of moping at the computer screen! AND YES THERE WERE COMPANIONS AFTER YOU YOU MET DONNA YOU BLITHERING IDIOT. What, Martha too young and pretty to meet your new companion standards?
6) ... Why, why are UNIT and Torchwood trying to kill Daleks with machine guns? UNIT, at least, should know better - Ace killed a Dalek for them with a rocket launcher. WHY DO THEY NOT HAVE ROCKET LAUNCHERS? *sulk* Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart would have brought rocket launchers. And Torchwood! They're supposed to have awesomesauce alien technology!
7) Gee, that wristband was easy to fix. >.> Planning ahead were we, Doctor?
8) Am bopping around the episode a lot, but I kind of adored Ianto's vaguely jealous complaint when Jack was talking about meeting a soldier in a bar. *snickers* We love you, Ianto.
9) Bopping some more: It can't be terribly reassuring when the guy who can't die tells you that 'we're all dead'. Because. Um. What? Want to try again, Jack? Though (and even though I kinda mocked SJA ruthlessly for the one episode I watched it (sonic lipstick whut?), I loved SJS's reaction. I really did.)
10) ... Alright, even if I don't like the SJA, I did like SJS as a companion, and I loved her in School Reunion, and... killing her in a car being all wibbly and 'omgz noes!' at a pair of Daleks DOESN'T FIT. Come on, the girl was taking potshots at mechanical mummies and had the Doctor try to die at her a lot when she was Rose's age, and even Rose isn't wibbling at the Daleks.
11) Oh, no. Not the long 'running down the street beaming at each other with the music in the background' scene. You're not... you are. COME ON, GUYS.
12) .... Whut.
13) .... Whut?
14) .... WHUT?

10. That didn't make sense to me either. Unless she has a plan up her sleeves. My guess being she was hoping they'd take her to where ever they took the other people. After all, she was the one who mentioned that the Daleks were taking people somewhere.
