Most of the things I want to see in the Olympics (Phelps swimming, mens gymnastics, womens gymnastics, among others) are on between 10pm and midnight.

You know, after when I need to be in bed if I'm going to be anywhere at 7am.

This makes me sad. I mean, yes, I can see replays later, but I'd already know who won, and the whole anticipation thing is gone.

*SULKS AT NBC*

Seriously NBC. Beach Volleyball every night between 8 and 10? When they aren't even medal games? Lose.

In other news, was a ride-along with an animal control officer all today. It was all very Animal Cops: Woodland.

Yeah, I passed out, too. And I managed to stay up 'til like 11? or something? and I only got to see Michael swim once, and the beginnings of the gymnastics. Maybe they think they'll get longer viewership? I know they want to show it live, but it's more than a little ridiculous.

Evidently it's only live for East Coast US. For me here in CA, they could start much earlier and, you know, let the kiddies see Olympic history as it happens.

Kiddies, and people who wish they could still stay up to midnight every night.
