Aug. 6th, 2008 08:30 amThis is the fix-it fic I mentioned yesterday - currently it's still my favorite of the fix-it fics. There's a sequel, too, which is also fantastic. :D
Got my roommate to start watching DW. I think she's hooked. Bwahahahaha. We watched 'Rose', and she sat there at 11pm last night debating whether to move on to the second episode. *grin*
Actually went for a run yesterday. Thought my lungs were going to give up, but they made it. It's really tragic how much running ability I've lost over the last month or two due to not being able to get up early enough and not being gung-ho enough to run before clinics in the morning.
I should be jazzed about this rotation, for lo, it is slacker central, with almost nothing to do. I'll be out ridiculously early on Friday (though I'll probably get paged again by Rad Onc, 'cause the students that are on this week are really really bad about putting their names as current students on the ongoing cases. Yesterday I got paged when the owners for one of my patients last week showed up. Cue ten minutes of trying to explain to the reception gals over the phone why I really really really can't go up and see the client or bring them their cat when I'm a)not on Rad Onc anymore and b) in jeans and c) have blood all over my hands 'cause I'm making blood smears. Fun times, but seriously the highlight of my day.). But... I want a real patient. I'll even take hellpug. At least I'm getting some writing done?
