Jan. 21st, 2009 06:19 pmDid my first necropsy today. Which I'd be prouder of if I hadn't spent the whole time having ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE as to what I was doing, and then when I got the hang of it other people swarmed all over the place taking over jobs. So. At least it got done?
Did the initial test for the 200 Situps challenge: 51. Not too bad!
Also did the initial test for the 100 Pushups challenge: 7. HAHAHAHA omg my arms are still so weaksauce. And these were not nice crisp movements either. These were the pained motions seen on comedies like Cool Runnings where the coach is actually the one doing all the work. *facepalms* Onward and upward. Yes.
Also did circuit training this morning for about half an hour, and walked to the farther-away grocery store for supplies (and then went to the closer one for more supplies which I'd forgotten at the first store and they've started selling single-serving greek yogurt and I got one and we'll see if it's tasty or not but at least it doesn't have high fructose corn syrup in like most of the 'light' flavored yogurts do, the sneaks).
Oh! And we were told off by one of the receptionists today. We were left to our own devices for lunch, and then were promptly kicked out of the conference room where we spend most of our time. So we went to the kitchen. Whereupon the receptionist pokes her head in and says, in the snottiest tone imaginable: "Just so you know, this is the only place some of the staff have to eat their lunch." And then she went away. Newsflash, hun: The seniors don't have an assigned place to eat at all, so we just kind of go where other people aren't. And the kitchen seemed like a logical place to, you know, eat lunch. No one else was in there every other time I looked in. That's so going on the review form, yes.
