Oct. 9th, 2008 08:32 pmNote to self:
Don't feed the laptop FotR DVDs.
For some reason (probably some spiffy 'extras' program some genius put on the DVD that fails to work with anything), it refuses to play the DVD, refuses to eject the DVD, and makes everything that much slower.
On that note - anyone know how to correct this? 'Cause I'd like to go back to status quo now.
*eyes computer* Stoppit. Srsly.
EDIT:
Fixed! It required use of dad's gift of computer-fixing, and complete removal of the DVD drive.
For crying out loud. Whoever wrote the screwy bit of programming on there? Very failtastic, buddy.
