First, the Olympic shout-outs...
Major congrats to the Iraqi Men's soccer team. Y'all are truly an inspiration.
Note to the Cuban Woman's Volleyball team: If you want to beat the US next time, dont' come out with that insufferable air of superiority. *makes a note to send the same message to Bush*
To Logan Tom: You rock, so much. When I grow up, can I be you?
To my Farm Boys: Too bad about the floor exercises. I thought they were great...
To the Canadian Gymnast who won the gold on floor exercise: BRAVO! You've just made history, bub.
To the US Men's Basketball team: Grow up. Please.
To Bush: Got any plans for retirement yet?

*grins* I love shoutouts.

WOrk... was killer today. Two hours overtime. I'm gonna have a looooong chat with the co-worker (again). Once again, no vaccines done yesterday, so I had to check up on over sixty cats, most of which I hit with a vaccine. Grrrrrr... Even if she just did half of those, I could get out reasonably near time.
I think, if I ever get another cat, I want an Abyssynian. There's a red one in the hospital now, and it looks like a miniature Cougar. Cuteness! Of course, then there's the fluffy little girl I shaved on Monday... It's amazing I don't have a million cats already.

Sis and I will probably be going to Great America on Wednesday. Fun? Hope I don't get sick or chicken out on the rollercoasters. *shiver* I have a bad feeling about this, Luke...

An Abyssynian? Oh yeah, those are such pretty cats...Very beautiful. I also like those spotted ones...erm...drat, I can't remember the name right now. Also Norweigan Forest cats, those are so huge and fluffy...and those Japanese bob-tail cats are cute. I love all kinds of cats, even just mixed-breed kitties are pretty.

Hey, I rode a roller coaster with three, not one or two, but three loops. As in, upside down...And I rode it three times. And I'd do it again. And not to mention Daredevil Falls. There's just something about falling that far at over fifty miles an hour that is extremely insane.

I have a season pass to that place, I had better go at least a couple more times this year. *sighs* I wish you could come out and go with me. We'd have a lot of fun.

I've gone to Great America before, and rode a couple big coasters, like The Demon... but my last memory of a coaster was at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, with my dad. We're going up the first big hill, and I say to him: "I think this might have been a bad idea". Kinda joking, right? He said, totally straight-faced: "You're right." I think that was scarier than the ride itself. *grin* That, and I watch waaay too much CSI. The problem with knowing how things work is knowing how things can go wrong.

Yeeeah...Daredevil falls broke one time while I was there last year. They said that a squirrel got caught in the transformer, and shorted out the whole ride. Some people got stuck half-way up the huge hill, and they had to walk down this reeeeally tall set of stairs to get down. That must have been a little startling. But nobody got hurt, which is good. And I think that their transformer is squirrel-proof now.
