Driving home tomorrow morning - slightly tragic, since it seems we just got here, and I'll have one week of Orthopedics before getting dumped into Neurology where I'm going to get my butt kicked. Awesome.
We didn't find any cute Christmas cards today (they were all rather.... eh), but we did get mint cocoa from Starbucks, and we found the missing Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory (even if their employees were lazy layabouts), and we got movies and stuff for mint chocolate brownies.
And I finished my book, and basically didn't think about school all day.

*FOODOLOGY *

What is your salad dressing of choice?
Balsalmic vinegarette

What is your favorite sit-down restaurant?
Depends on the day and/or occassion. There's a fancy pizza joint in Santana Row that's fantastic, but I also love the Thai place in Davis (as well as the Indian place in Davis), but there's that steak house in Winters... and oh, that California Cuisine place in Tahoe, yum, and the Mexican place in North Tahoe!
....
Yes, I'm aware that answered nothing.

What food could you eat every day for two weeks and not get sick of?
Satsuma tangerines. Yum-o, people.

What are your pizza toppings of choice?
Mozzarella, pesto, chicken, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, and... that cheese I could remember just a second ago but is gone now. Fontina? Maybe.

What do you like to put on your toast?
Either peanut butter and homemade jam (boysenberry being a favorite), or nutella.

* TECHNOLOGY *

What is your wallpaper on your computer?
On my desktop, it's a Great Dane. On this computer... I think it's still that cheesy windows blue sky/green hill motif. Yeeeup, so it is. You'd think I'd have changed it by now, I've only been working on this computer for five months.

How many televisions are in your house?
Technically, two. One is a real television, the sort that has antennas and plugs into the wall and randomly goes missing when roommate's sister makes off with it. The other is my little handheld jobbie that runs on batteries and will totally die next year when everything goes digital. Woe.

What color cell phone do you have?
Silver.

********

* BIOLOGY *

Are you right-handed or left-handed?
Right-handed.

Have you ever had anything removed from your body?
My wisdom teeth (full set), as well as part of the meniscus in my left knee.

What is the last heavy item you lifted?
A ginormous rock (okay, a rock about as big as a soccer ball, hush) to be used to weigh down a prickly bush so we could get out of the ankle-twisting mess that was the rocky 'beach' along Lake Tahoe's shoreline.

Have you ever been knocked unconcious?
Nope, unless you count anesthetic knockdowns.

* BULLCRAPOLOGY *

If it were possible, would you want to know the day you were going to die?
Hell no. The way I worry about upcoming events, it'd totally ruin the last few days of my life. Though I'm fairly sure I can find a way to do that anyway

If you could change your name, what would you change it to?
Nope. Though I did have a love affair with the name 'Charlotte' for the longest time. Yes, after the spider. What? She was a GREAT spider.

Would you drink an entire bottle of hot sauce for $1,000?
Depends - how long do I get to drink it. 'Cause if it's a year? Totally.

********

* DUMBOLOGY *

How many pairs of flip-flops do you own?
None. I abhor the little bit that goes between your big toe and the rest of them. It hurts.

Last time you had a run-in with the cops?
I was pulled over by a cop in my last year of vet tech school because my plates were expired (though he took the time to compliment my driving). Luckily, I had the tags in my glove box (just not the time to put them on, 'cause they were late from the DMV), so he let me go with a 'put those on when you get home'.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
A veterinarian. Though, on a less practical note, I'd like to be more confident, about 25 pounds slimmer, more competent, and a lot less easily frazzled. Oh, and the weird speech things I get, like random transposition of words or random stuttering or whatever the hell else? That can stop too.

Last person you talked to?
My mom, just now.

Last person you hugged?
My dad, saying goodnight.

* FAVORITOLOGY *

Season?
Spring. Everything seems more hopeful in the spring.

Holiday?
Christmas, I guess.

Day of the week?
Saturday. Srsly. Though Friday can be pretty awesome.

Month
Doooon't really have one. Every month has pros and cons. January has the whole 'fresh start' going for it, but it's generally freezing and wet. And last year, it had a power outage. February is short and sweet, but it also has chocolate on sale for most of the month, and that's rough on the new diet that inevitably gets started every January. March sees the start of new flowers and warmer weather, but also some nasty-ass storms. April has Easter in... which is also it's con, what with the inundation of OMG CANDY. May has birthdays and the start of cherry season, but usually by that time I'm so freaking ready for summer weather and it's never there yet. June has my birthday among others, but it's also usually time for finals or OMG GRADUATION so hi stress no didn't miss you either. July means disappointing job hunts, but also summer weather. August is kind of a bummer month all the way around, with no holidays to liven it up and sticky hot weather and depression over not getting a job. Ew. September is the start of a new school year (usually well ready for), but that comes with stresses as well, including moving into a new place, being away from home again, adjusting to new classes/clinics, and so on and so forth. October has finally some cooler weather than, say, boiling, but again with the OMG CANDY. November has Thanksgiving, which is awesome, but I'm usually starting to get a little burnt out by this point. December has Christmas, but also trying to figure out what the hell everyone actually wants, and finals, and the realizing that once again, January's goals were not met.

So. No favorites.

* CURRENTOLOGY *

First place you went this morning?
Technically, it was this afternoon, but Staples. We did find cute wrapping paper there.

What can you not wait to do?
I'm good, actually.

What's the last movie you saw?
'Definitely, Maybe', and dude, that guy's reasoning was WEAKSAUCE. Srsly. Right before that I saw 'Bucket List', which was much better.

Do you smile often?
Rather. I also giggle a lot, when I'm happy, when I'm nervous, when I'm giddy, when I'm freaking exhausted, and for a ton other reasons.
