bodldopsSo, the fog's back. For the last week or so, the local fog (tule fog) has been blanketing the valley in the mornings (and sometimes, especially Monday and Tuesday, all freaking day) in a dense, impenetrable fog.
Through which crazy drivers still plow through at 70+ mph, but whatever.
It's also gotten cold. According to the radio this morning, it was 35 degrees in Sactown, which is positively frigid for here, though I'm sure that's fairly decent for other places. It's nice and sunny now, but who knows how long that'll last.
There's a tv crew here with their cameras and boom sticks and everything (clogging up our hallways dear cameraman plz to be learning the meaning of 'excuse me' thanks so very much yes I will walk right into you if you persist in crouching behind me), and they got a lovely long shot of my thoracic limb amputee making his unsteady way back to his kennel dear God his owner's gonna see that and freak. Fun times.
Also? Amputations are freaking brutal. It's not so much the removing of limbs, it's the cutting of nerves. Let's leave it there and hope I don't get nightmares from this.
I'm at that stage of tired where I'll stare blankly at the wall and only realize 3-5 minutes later that I'm doing it. Whee... And I'm on surgery assist tonight. *facepalm*
Got another owner gift - the owner of the dog I sent home yesterday brought us pizza for lunch. Finally, a gift I can share!
Also, I really really want an Autumn dragon. But first I need to stop loading up on other dragons, yes? Once these hatch and/or go to that great big egg/hatchling electronic heaven, I'll focus on hunting Autumns. I saw three last night, but. *points at pile of eggs and the chicken* I have two in there I've had before, but I'm gunning for a female... shield dragon thing and maybe an alt vine? So.
