1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Saw actual cases all the way through, put in a triple-lumen catheter (dude, there's a reamer involved in that thing, for serious), performed joint taps on real live critters, belly danced in a restaurant (sorta), convinced someone who isn't family to go hiking with me, went to a mystery dinner (gah, the Emcee)...
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Yeees... and now. Did lose some weight, if not all that I wanted. Did worry a little less about tests, but I certainly wasn't Cap'n Calm. I've gotten through half of my clinical year, but I'm probably not the best student of evah. Fozzie never did learn not to jump altogether, but he did go to a great home, and seems happy. Um. And the house doesn't get cleaned that often. But it does get cleaned periodically!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My cousin had a baby, which is a story all in itself. But it's an adorable baby, so.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not that I know of?
5. What countries did you visit?
*snork* There might actually be a list if it was 'what counties I visited', because... yeah. I've been here. With the critters.
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
A steady paycheck, a bit more confidence, a pair of size-six jeans I fit into... :D
7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I. Um. Don't remember the actual dates? But:
1) First day of clinics, with the early-morning meeting and real clients.
2)... Um?
8. What was your biggest achievement of this year?
I haven't been completely incompetent in clinics.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Um? Probably not sticking with the diet/exercise plan and making it possible to not add 'lose weight' to the resolution list this year.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No, not really. I did have a couple nasty colds, but nothing that actually took me out, and I strained my shoulder once, which was more of an inconvenience than anything else.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Um? O.o No idea. Ticket to take the National Boards? >.>
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Meh?
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Oh, there's a list, I'm sure.

i. are you happier or sadder? Meh? Depends on the day.
ii. thinner or fatter? Thinner, actually. Which I need to keep remembering.
iii. richer or poorer? Poorer, due to lack of paycheck, whee.
iv older or wiser? ... Unless I have a TARDIS, 'Older' is mandatory if I'm going to be alive, and 'wiser' is subjective, so? I think this question is invalid.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Traveling. Getting answers right. Things like that.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
I'd say stressing out and all that... but seing as it'd be just about impossible for me to do less of it, I don't know as it counts.
20. How will you be spending New Years Eve?
Driving back to Davis, sleeping. I start my Holiday shift in Emergency tomorrow at 730am. Whee.
21. Did you fall in love in 2008?
Um, no.
22. How many one-night stands?
Don't make me laugh.
23. What was your favorite TV program?
Doctor Who. Guys, 'Silence in the Library' and the one on the crystal planet and okay yeah the finale had some cheesy moments from hell but the END OH DONNA.
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Yeeeeup.
25. What was the best book you read?
Um? Oh, what was that book? I read it at Thanksgiving - 'The Potato Peel Pie and... Pig Society?' I don't know if that's the name. Something like that. It was awesome, if a bit predictable.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Coldplay. Love their new CD so much.

"Blue Scrubs go with Everything"
33. What kept you sane?
Really geeky TV and movies.
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Hugh Jackman. Yum.
35. What political issue stirred you the most?

36. Who did you miss?
Everyone. My schedule is weird as hell and doesn't match up with many other peoples.
37. Who was the best new person you met?
New person? You're assuming I've been somewhere new this year.
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008.
It's usually not as bad as you fear. Sometimes it is. But usually not.

'I am slowly going crazy 123456 switch
Crazy going slowly am I 654321 switch'
40. Single greatest moment of 2008?
Um? There weren't a lot of singly great moments. And I think this question was already covered. So. Thing.
