ARE FINISHED! YAHOOOO!
*mad grin* That only took forever. I still have to send in some supplemental forms for Florida State, but all of the letters, the transcripts, the online forms... done. It's a very good thing.
I am so mad that the Colin/Cristie team is still in play in Amazing Race. S'not fair! Colin is a manipulative, conniving, abusive SOB that really needs to be in counseling. Or jail. Heh, he almost ended up in an African jail, wouldn't that be justice? But my fave team's in the lead, followed by my second fav team (the Bowling Moms rock. They rock so much. I wouldn't mind seeing them win at all.), so I'm not toooo mad. But... GAH! They're evil and bitchy and people who don't deserve to win anything!
*deep breath*
Yeah, I like AR. It's fun. If it's still going when my sister is old enough to play, we are so trying out for it.
I also like this new drama 'LAX'. It cracks me up. It's smart, it's low on the profanity/sexual situations scale, and they don't feel the need to wangst. It's a very good thing.
*does the happy dance* I'm done with vet applications, and I have the next two days off. Wheee!
And finally:
Leave me a drabble of backstory. It can be about anyone -- one of your characters, one of mine, someone else's, no-one's. Anyone. Then I'll write one for you.

I hate that SOB Colin, but the second I knew they were in last place I also knew it was "a predetermined non-elimination round." I don't even want to watch the end of the series now. I sooo want the Bowling Moms to win, just on general priniciple, just because everyone keeps calling them "the moms". I wouldn't mind so much if that other young couple won, but they're kinda whiney. Mutt and Geoff (Chip and Kim) bother me almost as much as Colin and Christie--he's okay, a real nice guy I think, but Kim's a witch, has she done ONE roadblock yet?
Colin and Christie have got to go!
I like AR, and I hope you get on it. I'll root for you. It's the only reality show I've ever watched because it seems to have a point and between the dumb stunts (why do so many of them have to do with food? What's that say about Americans?) the teams really do have to use their noodles to get around some pretty big problems-like the globe.

I got really annoyed at the twins a few weeks back when they said something along the lines of "We want to win, because we're the only chance of an all-female team winning this race". *whacks with cluebat* Such ditzes, I'm surprised they lasted as long as they did.
Kim... Kim's a firecracker. *ponders* Has she done a roadblock? You know what, you're right. I never realized that before. But I love Chip. He just rocks my socks.
There does seem to be more food than usual this year, though I can't figure out why. I probably would have been suckered into doing the chocolate one. And if sis and I were playing, I had better had gotten the caviar, 'cause we'd still be there if she had to eat that.
