Random musings
Sep. 23rd, 2004 04:20 pmHey lookie, a new update page. Cool...
Nope, not dead yet. Thought about it Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, but definitely not dead yet. I might even get better. I can breathe semi-clearly for the first time in days.
I really want to write a M&C fic. And I need to get going on the M&C OFU. Still looking for canon captains who are fond of the cat. This Lord Clonfert character (Mauritius Command) seems like a likely choice, but... I might strangle him myself if I had to work with him. What an ass.
Had ClinPath lab today, muchly fun. Horse eosinophils are neato. Never did track down my own monocyte, but I got everything else. And my blood smears were half decent! Hurrah!
Took me forever to get home today. After doing the requisite shopping (Martha the Wonder Cat was ready to shred me if I came home without litter again), I got caught in a huge traffic jam caused by one of the old railway crossings malfunctioning. The gates were down, the lights were going, but there was no train. Finally a policeman showed up and propped one of the gates up on each side so that some traffic could squeeze through. Then some idiot tried to get through the intersection after said cop told him to stop and wait. Luckily it didn't cause an accident, but... stupid people.
Lost... needed to be longer. Much longer. Of course, I say that about Alias too, so... can't wait until the next episode. Am I the only one who thinks the old man is really, really creepy?
CSI:NY was... very creepy. Is that 'Locked-in Syndrome' thing really true? O.o Majorly strange. Hopefully the next episode lets the characters play a bit more... all I got out of this one is the head guy is majorly depressed about something, the coroner should sleep more, and that lady who was on 'Providence' seems to only be able to play one character.
CSI:Miami... I would now like to have a moment of silence for Speedo...
*sigh* I liked Speedo. Muchly. Was it necessary for him to die because he was being an idiot? Huh? Oh, and can someone tell me why there would be a fish in the ransom bag? Yeah, the fish were from the canal the car got dumped in, but how would the dad have found the car if the meeting was supposed to be on a boat? Huh? I am now muchly confused.
*cheers madly* Chip and Kim won! WHOOOOOT! I was really hoping it would be the bowling moms, but that dang cliff...I don't think I could get up it. It just kinda went up... in a disasterously vertical fashion.
EDIT:
1. Think of a word you would use to describe me.
2. Go to Google Image Search and search for that word.
3. Select the picture you see as most fitting, and post it as a reply.
4. Post this meme in your journal.
