Good news: I just got the official e-mail re: job. As in they really really want to give it to me.

Bad news: They want three references too.

Worse news: They can't be past employers.

Worst news: ... I don't know who the hell to ask.


So I guess... I'll go ask faculty tomorrow. And get lots of ridicule for going corporate. And hopefully three someones will say yes.

I feel sick.

Just once can't I have something shiny without something else coming along and ruining it? Honestly? I was so damn happy when I woke up this morning. I want to go back to this morning.

Oh dear, that's bullshit. You're a student fresh out of school, do they expect you to open up your own goddamn practice right away? That's ridiculous.

Anyways, I hope you have the references you need and that they don't give you crap.
