Good news: I just got the official e-mail re: job. As in they really really want to give it to me.

Bad news: They want three references too.

Worse news: They can't be past employers.

Worst news: ... I don't know who the hell to ask.


So I guess... I'll go ask faculty tomorrow. And get lots of ridicule for going corporate. And hopefully three someones will say yes.

I feel sick.

Just once can't I have something shiny without something else coming along and ruining it? Honestly? I was so damn happy when I woke up this morning. I want to go back to this morning.

*blinks* They don't want past employers? That's just weird. Most jobs, I would have thought, would like to hear from those types of people most of all.

But still, faculty! I'm sure its part of their job to provide references for students so hears hoping for you!
