bodldopsSo as I'm packing up to go home today (VACATION FOR A WEEK YAY), I say to myself, 'Self, you should take some stuff from your room home so there won't be as much to move in June'. I decide I have a pretty good idea going there, and decide that books would be an easy, portable thing to pack up and move out.

You know how in Discworld, putting a whole bunch of books together can cause dangerous mystical forces and such?
I'm just waiting to be turned into an orangutan. Where the heck did all these books come from? And I'm not even bringing back all my textbooks (except one, gotta read up for Medicine or they're gonna kick my butt again). There's five huge piles sitting in my living room now, and I still need to bring down at least one more stack. WTF.
There might be the need for a reassessing of which books actually get read when I get home, and then a trip to the used book store. Good grief.
