Watched 'Foyles War: A Lesson in Murder' last night.
It had David Tennant in.
Now, let's be honest. I adore him playing the Doctor. I think he's brilliant (possibly because he reminds me of Sylvester McCoy playing the Doctor). I like him even better when he gets away from Rose (omg the Donna-Doctor episodes FTW), but that's an entirely different topic.
The thing is, him in this movie?
EXACT SAME CHARACTER MANNERISMS. The stuffing the hands in the pockets and jutting the jaw out, the wandering, the eyebrows. Dude. Soooo maybe he's a bit of a one-trick pony.
Though imagining the Doctor hiding out on Earth during WWII as a somewhat violent conscientious objector is hilarious.
