Someone from my school hospital died of suspected swine flu.

I didn't know her.

Just... wtf, world.

Man I don't want to get a flu shot because they kick my ass, but I'm so thinking about it.

*scrunches nose* I'm torn. On one hand? Up until very recently, very very very few people who contracted swine flu died. On the other hand? Two people have died in one week around here. >.>

Also! 'Swine Flu' bugs me. Most flu viruses mutate through pigs, (because pigs have whacko immune systems that can react to both bird and human flu viruses and so mutations account for both), so... H1N1. It's just not as... evocative.
