So the parents are off in Oregon looking at property, and sis and I have the run of the place. *grin* We are having entirely too much fun. Oh, by the by? If you have a PS2, think about getting one of those eyetoy games. Way too cool. Good for players like me, who feel that if they just move a bit, the figure on the screen should move as well and not hit the wall/tree/other racer/hard immovable object.
Saw 'Phantom of the Opera' today... so cool. I still prefer the live theater better (obviously), but this is a darn good rendition. And I love the actor they chose as Raoul, he's not as sappy as I usually see him. Meg was entirely too cute *huggles Meg*, and I absolutely adore Madame Giry.
No, I'm not going to shamelessly beg for PotO icons. Please?
And now, 'cause I was intrigued, a meme stolen shamelessly from HtW:
The not-so usual stuff:
What’s your favorite nickname?
Bodldops (Boy, didn't see that one coming, did you?)
What do you wish more people would call you?
Veterinarian.
How old do you feel?
Old enough to know better.
Where do you wish you were from?
Actually, I kinda like where I'm from right now...
What do you think of where you live?
Usually good weather, a bit shaky, governer's a bit of a twit, pretty comfortable right now...
If you entire appearance were to change, bar one thing, which would you choose to remain constant?
My eyes, I like'em.
What trait does someone else have that you wish you had?
Can I be skinny like (insert famous twenty-something actress name here)? Please? Bugger.
What trait do you have that you wish someone else had?
Patience
Fun questions:
What is your opinion on socks?
I like goofy ones.
Do the stars shine for you?
Well, they don't automatically turn off when I step outside, so I guess so.
Define ‘wonky.’
Completely, utterly, and certainly irrevokably messed up.
Write a sentence in any form of gibberish you like. It may be made-up words, a little-known foreign language, or just a whole string of inside jokes. Just make it was unintelligible as possible. Extra credit if you’re trying to write it so that a chosen one or few can decipher it.

Who makes the best sushi?
Bento Express makes a pretty good sushi.
Do you have a crazy beard with egg in it?
Who?
Do you have wings?
No, but one of my OFC's does. Big golden-brown ones. Drew a picture of her that's up on elfwood.
Do you have your own scientific principle?
Mmmm... If you say a vein is as big as a firehose, it will be impossible to hit.
Where is Somewhere Else?
Far, far away
What’s a Wonderwall, anyway?
It's the proper term for describing what a driver in the Indy 500 sees just before crashing head-on into the outer protective wall and thinks, "I wonder where that wall came from?".
Deep questions:
Would you rather be remembered for who were or what you did?
Who I was.
Would you give up a year of your life for the thing you want most in the world?
Just one? Heck, I'm planning on giving up four.
If you could live somewhere you’ve always wanted to be, but you could only take one person with you and only stay in contact with three others, whom would you choose?
I'd take 'Dan with me, and stay in contact with my mom, dad, and little sis.
Which book do you wish you had written?
Anything by Terry Prachett. The man's a genius.
Would you rather spend your entire life with your best friend, or one of your good friends, and never marry, or have a happy marriage and not see your best friend often?
Happy marriage. I've heard it's a good thing.
What about Canadialand?
Yeah, what about it?
“The heart has its reasons whereof reason knows nothing.” – Pascal. What do you think of this?
I think the heart needs a critical thinking class.
How do you want to die?
In my sleep, like my grandfather, not screaming in terror, like his passengers.
If you could be any of the four Fellowship hobbits, which would you choose?
Sam. He learns about the world, becomes a hero, gets to marry the love of his life, is respected by nearly everyone, has lots of wonderful kids, and eventually gets to sail west. Oh, and he gets to beat on Gollum. *grin*
Would you rather have fifty acquaintances, ten friends, five good friends, or one best friend?
One best friend. Best friends are good people to know.
How long would you wait for something you really wanted?
So far, been waiting five years. Any questions?
Would you rather do something good and be forgotten, or do something bad and be remembered for it?
Something good... 'cause I'd remember.
Do you prefer to be advised or to be understood?
Understood! Sometimes, all one needs is a sympathetic ear and a sounding board.
Is it possible to love too much?
... I'd say no, but some things people call love can be done in excess.
What is the definition of a cynic?
Someone who sees things as they are and decides that he/she can do nothing to change it.
More Random Stuff:
If I told you with a straight face that dihydrogen monoxide could cause death and must therefore be outlawed, what would you do to me?
Tell you that if you're that afraid, I just won't ask you to go swimming again.
Describe how you tie a balloon.
Well, I blow up the balloon a little too much, then tug frantically at the tiny little tag of elastic I left, trying to get it into a knot. The balloon usually slips at this point, so I have to duck lest the erratically flying balloon bonks me over the head. Rinse and repeat until tired or I finally figure out how not to overfill it.
If you could have any Cute Animal Friend™ you liked, what would it be and what would you name it?
I'd like an Ewok, if I wasn't sure it'd be insulted by being called a CAF. Hmmm...
I'd like a swamp dragon. I'd call him Ferggie.
Take an important passage from one of your favourite songs and re-arrange the words so that it still sort of makes sense.
Cold and broken halleghluia it is, it is.
Would you follow Fran down the drain?
.... No, but I'd send down food every once in a while...
Do you have any Cranny Rope™?
Rope! *snaps fingers* Here I'm wanting it, and don't have it!
Have you ever quoted yourself?
Sure. I don't think anyone's ever noticed, thankfully.
Do you love flying?
It's alright.
If you were going to be Jekyll/Hyde-ish, what or whom would you choose to be your alternate personality?
Wolverine. 'Cause he's good, under all that gruff.
What is your opinion on red hair?
Looks good on some people.
Do you need an Obi-wan to tell you if you’ve gone astray?
Doesn't everybody? Even if dear Obi only tells the truth from a certain point of view. (Much rather have a Qui-Gon to tell me if I've gone astray).
Okay, gonna get cracking on that Han story.
