Jun. 1st, 2006 10:28 amLook! Two updates! In a single week! Someone call Rome, it's a miracle!
Right. Um.
So, the professors-that-be have now missed two classes in two days. Last night we were forgotten in our Equine Neonatology class (meaning, no cute foal fix for me this week, alas and alack), and the Parisitology prof was a no-show today. Hope he's alright, he's been in and out of the hospital for the last two weeks. Still. Where's the rest of the department?
Mrr.
Yesterday was the day from hell, thanks to an 8am Urology final (YAY that class is over no more Acid/Base balance lectures!) and a four-hour stint of Immunology, three of which were spent listening to fellow students give reviews of papers they read for the mandatory critique paper. That might have been alright, if every single speech wasn't a review of one of five techniques. Seriously. I can only hear about how ELISAs work so many times before my brain liquifies and begins dripping out my ears. It was painful.
And then there were no cute foals after. WOE!
Six more days until my birthday. A full quarter-century. Wow.
... And even at that venerable age I'm sulking that the new DW series won't be out on DVD until July so I can't stick it on the birthday wish list. I am shallow sometimes, yes. Besides, 7th Doc-Ace is better than the new series anyway. La.
Today, I think, shall be 'clean the apartment' day, since my flatmates have had people over nearly 24/7 the last few days due to one of their friends dying. That I can understand. Leaving the kitchen/livingroom/everything else in shambles I cannot. So. Out comes the bleach! It'll be a good way to work off the frustration of lack of foal fix.
Oooooor so I'll tell myself. Yes.
Lalala I do not want to go to the debriefing. I have nothing to say about the curriculum, thanks. Other than if you're not going to give us a syllabus for a class, please do be making the slides available online before the actual lecture for better note-taking.
