This is me, on vacation.
:D!
Saw X3 today, can't say I was overwhelmingly impressed - it was a good action movie though.
I am still vaguely disappointed at Hank McCoy, greatly disappointed by Jean Grey, wtfing over Scott Summers and Charles Xavier (just... dude. How stupid are you anyway?), and rolling my eyes at Rogue, who is a whiny little girl. I... almost liked Storm, except she was so flat you'd swear someone took an iron to her personality. I liked Logan, but I always like Logan. I dearly missed my Nightcrawler (this movie could have used some serious Nightcrawler action), and it could have used more Archangel, though I will admit the wings are very cool.
I love Kitty. Yes.
Um... Bobby was cute, but I think he was attacked by the same iron that got Storm. Juggernaught was fun, but tell me I wasn't the only one who saw his defeat coming a mile away? Um... I liked Magneto, of course, even if he was a bit cliched. Is that all the main characters? Oh, Mystique. Um. Well. I'd be a bad person if I cheered when she got whacked with the Cure, right?
Um.
Mooooving on.
So, overall, decent movie, but I wouldn't go see it again. Probably won't rent it.
So, not much going on - the new 'Hell's Kitchen' has started up, and I love that show. Most reality shows annoy me, but that one and Amazing Race I could watch all day. There's just something about watching people who swear up down and sideways that they can run a million-dollar restraunt in Vegas, and then proceed to burn everything in their path (or alternately, turn it in raw) that amuses the hell out of me.
I? Am actually reading a book. 'Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister'. Excuse me while I do the dance of no upcoming tests.
