Continuing from last night's sadly truncated post...
5) Sergeant Patrick Harper - Sharpe's Adventures. If I wasn't seriously considering Hakeswill, I'd go for Harper. The gentle Irish amature ornithologist who can beat the living daylights out of nearly any man standing and fancies himself akin to ancient Irish warriors. Gotta love him.
6) An Ood. It'd still be very very ood. No, I'm not going to get tired of that joke.
7) Mrs. Moore - DW. Stupid writers with their stupid need for tragedy. I was hoping dearly for a second middle-aged woman companion. *sulks*
8) Stephen Maturin - Master and Commander. Still. I do love this boy, more in the books than movie!verse. Even if he does has the most deplorable taste in women. Even if he is a sneaky little bastard. He's a sneaky little bastard who can play beautiful music, perform surgery with most of the ship's company watching, and can sneak a British naval captain across France right under the noses of the French army.
9) Robin Hood from the Disney animated version. *sigh* But he'd be so much fun. Oodalally.
Anyway. I've only four pups now, soon to become three, so I'll have room for at least one more, mayhap two. Or more. Or not. I wish there was some way to see if pups would work as well as you think they will before actually playing them.
In other news: I have a new Jasper Fforde book. This makes me very happy. Sadly, it is not a Thursday Next book (so no Spike, woe), but I like Fforde, so I'm hoping this series is good as well. Here's hoping!
