Nov. 17th, 2006 01:57 pmI am both totally on the ball today and utterly braindead.
In the 'on the ball' column:
1) Finally got a key to the VMTH.
2) Turned in the health questionaire to the VMTH people, probably signing myself up for yet another round of vaccines. Fun.
3) Got all the paperwork signed at the Dean's Office, despite the lady I'm supposed to contact yet again being Not There.
In the 'utterly braindead' column:
1) Thought the first lecture was at 10am, and left the apartment appropriately - first lecture was at 9am. At least that prof doesn't seem to go off the notes.
2) Actually remembered to pull the 12-page lab out of the Gen Path syllabus... and then left the folder containing said lab in the lecture hall, and now I'm at least a mile away in the lab building. Oops?
3) Despite a large mug of tea this morning, have had to fight to stay awake in what lectures I have managed to catch today.
Blarg.
Also, my mouse at home keeps cutting out. I think it's more of a mouse problem than a computer problem, as the mouse is one of those gizmos usually given away at trade fairs (my dad had one handy when Martha munched through the cord connecting my last mouse) and five months is starting to push the expected lifespan of such a gizmo, so... I should probably give in and buy a new one. Computer is fairly worthless without a mouse.
Still don't know if I'm going to do the 5K tomorrow. My runs lately have been somewhere near horrid, but. Surely the adrenaline of a real race sort of thing would carry me further than a treadmill?
Maybe I am stupidly idealistic.
I wish I could bring Diego, he'd drag me through the full 5K.
Christmas Card Hunt update: RiteAid and Safeway have been disqualified. This is a bit disturbing. Must find new ground to hunt the ever elusive cute card.
