bodldopsToday is the day for list entries, evidently.
a) We saw 'Dear Frankie' with dinner tonight. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. Though. Bring tissues. Because it made me SOB. Argh. But it is lovely, and gorgeously written.
Though now I totally agree that Doctor #9 is totally dressed like a sailor. Geeze.
b) Crab and veggie dip was fabulous. Lava cakes are in the oven now. :D
c) Almost almost done with the cross-stitch pattern. Just need to finish off the backstitching.
d) I managed to get to a new someplace with the Splinter Cell game. Of course, I suspect sis is on the other computer setting a new record.
e) I love Public TV. There's some sort of musical review on now, where the gal is singing various movie songs. Brings on a lot of 'OMG do you remember that why haven't we seen that in so long?' talk. Also? 'Prairie Home Companion' is on next. YAY!
f) Watched a bit of the FotR EE today, to refresh my memory of movie!Meriadoc. :D Forgot how much love the hobbits in general are. Also, Arwen's elvish still bugs the hell out of me. GLORFINDEL SAYS GET OFF THE DRUGS, GIRL.
g) Eidlewiess!! Argh. That part of the movie always makes me cry.
h) And now I go to finish the cross-stitch, get the cakes out of the oven, and prepare to ring in the new year. Have a good night, all!
