Yes! It is finally here!

...

With a very tiny, tiny fraction of the massive number of pictures I have. Because I have to start with something, and there are, literally, hundreds.

...

I am dangerous with a digital camera. ANYWAY!

These are growing at the edge of the 'pond' nearest to the VMLF - there's a family of squirrels living under there that Diego goes nuts over every time we pass.

These are also growing at the end near the VMLF - I'd take a closer picture, but it's down a steep incline. The only other tree of this type I've seen is all the way over by the music building, and we haven't been over there in a while. Not, at least, while I've had my camera on me.

There is a garden half-way to the lodge that they call the 'Mission Garden', supposedly copied off the gardens in many California missions. Which one in particular they're trying to mimic, I don't know. It's a liiiiittle hokey, but the flowers are pretty just now. Here's one.

And another.

This is, in fact, very much a flower post.

Diego even gets in on the act. He liked the garden. So many lizards to try and pounce on!

These are cool. A little weird. But cool.

I don't, actually, know what any of these flowers are called, for the most part. It's a little sad. In the way that I don't actually care what their names are, because they're just as pretty anyway.

Took me four tries to get this little guy in focus. Someday I'm actually going to re-read that part of the manual.

I know this one! It's a pomegranate!

And this is an iceplant. It's everywhere, and it's just started blooming in earnest.

Here's another iceplant. It evidently comes in different flavors.

And this is an orchid thing. *is technical* There's a part of the path that's lined with these.

See?

And there are no more naked trees to take pictures of. Thus, one must take pictures of trees with leaves.

They are actually very pretty too.

You miiiight not be able to tell, but there is a small platoon of the duckling army way in the back there.

Diego and I hunted them down. There would be a better picture, but this is the last shot my camera was able to take before the batteries gave up the ghost, and the picture taking for that day was done.

Puppy on the lectern. ... See? I told you Small Animal Repro was fun. :D

And the first shot from my walk yesterday. Out of nearly 100. Yes, there are a lot of pics coming, and I haven't even started on the ones from last quarter, or the ones from break, or the ones from Picnic Day. Fear.

And now to walk Diego (and get more pictures).
