Work was busy today. The new medical manager helped out, which was great. He's getting better at helping out too... though we still have to prod him to sign off on treatments. Selah seems to be getting along with him better too, which is good. I was worried about that. Personally, I like the fact that he isn't always totally serious. One totally serious person in the hospital is more than enough, thanks. It's grim enough around there.
Speaking of non-grim things, there's an adorable litter of puppies (pit/chow cross, though we think it's pit/pointer or pit/shepherd) in the hospital. They're so precious! One of my classmates got piccies, so I'll bug her to upload them. Along with the picture of the baby fawn... oh yes, it's baby season. I just hope the puppies didn't pick up parvo from the outbreak on Sunday... boy, that didn't stay non-grim for long.
I got an A on my lab animal midterm! Yahooo! I thought I'd failed that sucker. Eeeeeevil class, oh yes. While I was taking it, I had the theme song from "M*A*S*H" playing in my head. You know... "Suicide is painless..." *snerk* My brain is evil, and is trying to kill me. Witness protection!
O.o Did you know you can get menengitis from your hamster? o.O Sheesh.
Can you tell I'm attempting to escape studying the renal system? Got a lab test in the early am. Blarg. I know this stuff... I can do it for avians too. *snerk* I should do that. Write out the human answer, then contrast it with birds. That'll throw 'em. Maybe I can get out of this brain-cell-killing class.
